Roots and Relationships

Hello!
My name is Alyssa Zerwas and I am a student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Carlson School of Management. This podcast was created because of my passion for self-growth and healing. There is deeply interesting research that supports the argument that our parents' relationship impacts our mental and physical well-being across a lifetime. The goal of this podcast is to shed more light on these issues many people face while also creating a safe environment to help others grow as individuals. I hope to provide others with healthy coping mechanisms, more knowledge, and solutions to problems occurring in relationships or families. The topics you can discover in my podcast include childhood trauma, mental health, parental relationships, romantic relationships, and becoming comfortable with solitude.
Dedication
This podcast is dedicated to my parents for raising me, loving me, and providing me with experiences that have led me here; being so passionate about helping others through these issues. It is also dedicated to my brother Nathan and his soon to be wife Sydney for showing me love is about growing together and always being there for one another. And lastly, this podcast is dedicated to everyone who has been deeply impacted by the beautiful and complicated idea of love and everything it brings to life.
